Novak Djokovic claimed his third Grand Slam title of 2015 on Sunday as he beat Roger Federer in four sets in the U.S. Open final at Flushing Meadows.

The Serb prevailed 6-4, 5-7, 6-4, 6-4 after combating a Federer fightback to top off a stunning year for the world No. 1.

Djokovic's only Grand Slam defeat of 2015 came back in June when he was surprisingly beaten by Stan Wawrinka in the French Open final.

However, there was to be no such shock in New York. While the legendary Federer put up a valiant fight, Djokovic proved once again there is nobody better in men's tennis at the moment.
